The Details
Teufel’s Tomb is my personal online heavy metal web magazine. I started the site way back in 1996 and it’s still going strong 14 years later.
Prior to 2008, the website was a static HTML site containing over 500 album reviews and interviews with various heavy metal bands. In 2008 I decided to create a dynamic version of the website using WordPress and used it as my guinea pig to learn new tips and techniques and generally figure out how WordPress works.
With a staff of over twenty writers my goal was to make it easy for the contributors to access the admin area and submit their articles while having custom templates for every post type. The design is clean, easy to navigate and very easy to customize.
As of June 2010, the website is on hiatus while I work on a complete overhaul of the website, designing a brand new custom theme which will be modified and available for purchase shortly thereafter.
