Work

  • Flesh Parade “Dirty Sweet” CD Artwork
  • The Details

Guitarist Rene Perez of the Louisiana grindcore outfit Flesh Parade hired me in 2009 to redesign the album cover of his band’s upcoming full length CD “Dirty Sweet” based off of work I’d done on the band’s MySpace page in late 2008.

The concept for the artwork was “sleazy and cheesy” with inspiration taken by Motley Crue‘s “Girls Girls Girls” album.  The original design was done by Brian Kaz.  My job was to take Brian’s design and upgrade it using the color scheme I used on the band’s MySpace page and adding my own touches throughout.

The finished product includes many cheeky silhouettes with stars and starbursts throughout.  I also created an 11×17″ poster which was given away free with pre-orders featuring artwork from the album.  The album should hopefully be released in late 2010.
