I’m a full-time freelance digital media designer from Vancouver, British Columbia. I’ve spent the past 14 years designing websites, brand identities and marketing materials for clients throughout the world and am currently seeking new and exciting challenges.
What Are My Proficiencies?
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Acrobat & Premiere, Quark, XHTML and CSS to name a few. In recent years I’ve spent the majority of my time developing themes for various Content Management Systems, Bulletin Boards, eStores and the like. I’ve also written the majority of the web copy for the sites and marketing materials I’ve designed.
What Is Crooked Designs?
Crooked Designs is my personal portfolio containing a small selection of the work I’ve done in recent years. I tried to choose an even mix of different projects I’ve worked on, from apparel to web to print design. I plan on keeping the portfolio up-to-date and will be adding and removing new pieces all the time to keep things fresh.
Why “Crooked Designs”?
Because “Crookes Creations” seemed too pretentious.
What Do I Do When I’m Not Designing?
When I’m not making something awesome, I can usually be found writing reviews for my heavy metal web magazine, Teufel’s Tomb, or articles for various blogs and magazines.
If I’m not doing that, I can usually be found watching a movie, reading a comic book, playing a video game and many other nerdly activities that make me a social outcast.
